CITB Grants Available
A grant is available to support a range of courses through the CITB Site Safety Plus Scheme.
An attendance grant of £26 per day for all courses.
Achievement grants are available as follows:
£76 for achievement of the two day SSSTS course
£76 for achievement of the two day SMSTS Refresher course.
£190 for achievement of the full five day SMSTS course.
If your employee does not pass the end of course examination the attendance grant only will be payable. Grant is payable for any additional days required to complete the qualification providing the Site Safety Plus criteria are met.
You will receive an additional 10% supplementary payment automatically if you are eligible. This rate may be reduced if sufficient Levy funding is not available. This is only likely to take effect in exceptional circumstances.
For achievements awarded or courses attended within the 2009/2010 CITB-ConstructionSkills Grants Scheme Year your claim must be received no later than 31st October 2010. Claims received after this date will be rejected.
What This Means Is...
A CITB grant of up to £352 is available for the full five day SMSTS course. Meaning you will only pay £273 if you are a qualifying fee paying company.
A CITB grant of up to £140 is available for two day SMSTS Refresher course. Meaning you will only pay £200 if you are a qualifying fee paying company.
A CITB grant of up to £140 is available for the two day SSSTS course. Meaning you will only pay £110 if you are a qualifying fee paying company.
